March Madness

I definitely have to agree with the notion that businesses lose productivity during March Madness but I also think the losses of employment wages are a little extreme and so does the article in Forbes Magazine entitled, “March Madness Employee Productivity Problem Is Overstated, Yet influences Corporate Change”. In this article it states that the ways in which they calculated the $134 million loss was wrong. The study failed to include the ability to multitask which is very prevalent in our society.  An employee can watch and/or listen to the game all while completing work. Maybe not as efficient but their productivity isn’t completely lost like many studies want the reader to believe.
