Why be distracted in the first place?

Yea, so, if your being distracted toward work to watch a basketball game, really, a basketball game, like really? I find that puzzling.

If you have a job that you are enjoying then you should be immersed in your work, not being distracted. Isn't that the point that we are in college to find some sort of profession that we could lend our lives too. Too find some sort of fulfillment in, and so at the end of our days you look back and you like what's in the rear view mirror? To me this article opens up another more important question. The fulfillment of your job.

I think that college is a way to find out who you really are and what you want to be. Away from parents and injected into a place where people are immersed with different ideologies, ethics, and behaviors than yourself  combined with every changing experiences tell you who you really are. Steve Jobs had a quote that said
“You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.
As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.
This doesn't mean that in college that you don't need distraction,(hell I get distracted every hour) it means that by the time your are in a job that it you should be doing what you love. This quote defines what it means to really love your work, and if you really love your work then you will never get distracted, because what could pull you away from what you love?
