When it comes to March Madness and how it affects businesses, I think it defiantly varies depending on where you're looking. For the more desk type jobs, I'd have to agree with the article. With people placing bets, and wanting their bracket to be perfect, March Madness can be pretty time consuming and an important part of peoples spring time. Being a server, I think it brings in more businesses, especially because we have two flat screen TV's that can show two different games. So for the restaurant and entertainment businesses, I'd say that March Madness helps them rather than not.
